• SAS Management Console, SAS Enterprise Guide, Stored Processes
• Business Intelligence Tools, including: SAS OLAP Cube Studio, SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office, SAS Information Map Studio, SAS Web Report Studio, SAS Information Delivery Portal
• Analyzed and designed SAS Business Intelligence (BI) server architecture.
• Analyzed the existing metadata server and made several recommendations, eliminating some unnecessary components and reconfiguring others that were not working properly.
• Migrated the client’s BI solution from the existing environment to an optimized environment.
• Tested and implemented a new release of SAS’s Size Profiling solution.
• Automated various tasks through SAS Stored Processes, enabling our clients to run applications with additional flexibility that would have previously required IS resources.
• Created several reporting processes in Enterprise Guide that merged application data in SAS data sets with data from another application loaded in the data warehouse (Oracle).
• Developed a UNIX script to help manage disk space and SAS work directories.
• Resolved production problems by analyzing SAS code, logs (object spawner, workspace server, etc.), and configuration files to determine root causes.
• Trained both IS and business clients on the newly developed processes.
